A 100% Multi-expertise consortium led by Guintoli, NGE GENIE CIVIL, NGE FONDATIONS, LAGARRIGUE, SIORAT, TSO, TSO SIGNALISATION, TSO CATENAIRES and SAGES RAIL has carried out the work to create a new track to connect the Amiens-Rouen and Gisors-Serqueux lines to the existing network on the Le Havre-Paris freight line.

The aim of this project, which is the brainchild of SNCF Réseau, is to lighten the load on this freight line by creating a 1.3 km rail link to avoid turning manœuvres at Serqueux station (76). As a result, traffic will run more smoothly and the link between Le Havre and the Paris region will be improved.

The scope of the works includes:

  • Roadworks and earthworks
  • Civil engineering works (including the construction of 3 engineering structures, a road bridge over the RD1314, a road bridge over the RD41 and a footbridge)
  • Underpinning, concrete formwork and roadworks (in particular, the creation of a 500-metre-long departmental road and a 900-metre-long local road)
  • Laying 1.3 km of track and providing rail safety services
  • Electrification of the line, as well as overhaul of the catenary at Gisors station in partnership with Colas Rail, and overhaul of the catenary at Serqueux station

This project demonstrates the ability of our teams to apply multi-skilled solutions to the most ambitious projects, to ensure the smooth running and improvement of the national rail network.
