🇫🇷 Electrification of the T9 tramway

TSO CATENAIRES (lead contractor), in a consortium with EIFFAGE ENERGIES SYSTEMES, has carried out the complete electrification of the T9 tramway line, linking Porte de Choisy (13th arrondissement) and Orly in around 30 minutes.
This new line strengthens the transport offer in the Val-de-Marne department, guaranteeing faster and more efficient service thanks to a dedicated traffic lane and high frequency of service (one tram every 5 minutes at peak times).
The T9 tramway also has numerous connections to bus, metro and RER lines, making it an integral part of the regional transport network.

This project involves supplying and installing all the equipment required for the construction of the overhead contact line, including the foundations and the supply and installation of the poles.
In total, almost 26 km of overhead contact line and 500 catenary poles have been installed.
Our teams also carried out the electrification of the new storage and maintenance centre (SMC), where the trams are serviced.

Through this project, TSO, via its subsidiary TSO CATENAIRES, is confirming its commitment to a new low-carbon urban mobility solution accessible to thousands of passengers every year.
