🇫🇷 Tramway T1 : Redevelopment of the Bobigny Pablo Picasso station
TSO (lead contractor), Guintoli, TSO CATENAIRES, NGE FONDATIONS, NGE GENIE CIVIL and Agilis have won the contract for the redevelopment of the Bobigny Pablo Picasso station of tramway T1 and the construction of associated buildings, led by RATP.
This project is part of the extension of tramway T1 between Noisy-le-Sec and Val-de-Fontenay station and aims to adapt the new control station to the line’s new operating conditions, as it has become too long (37 km in total) to be operated as a single arc.
The scope of the work includes the construction of an underground technical room beneath the future tram track and two other buildings within the line’s SMA (Service and Maintenance Area), the installation of new multi-tube concrete networks in a dense urban area, track laying and the installation of overhead contact lines and traction systems.
Finally, these new railway systems will be connected to the existing tracks.
This new configuration also requires the redevelopment of the stations between Bobigny Pablo Picasso and Noisy-le-Sec to accommodate the new rolling stock and systems that will improve the reliability of this long line.
This new project confirms TSO and the NGE Group’s position as key players in urban public transport and highlights the strength of Multiexpertise offer in delivering the most ambitious projects.
